Dylan had a great birthday and was even able to blow out the candles all by himself which is a first. LOL!!! I have a video of that and it is way funny. He even blew up balloons for his birthday too! I know it is amazing! He he he!!

I hope you can see what Dylan is doing. Since he cannot blow very good at all, daddy helped him by giving him the blower for air pressurizer and let him at it. It was fun for everyone! This was the first time ever that he has blown out his candles himself. So happy!!!!

Update about USDB (Utah School for the Deaf and Blind)
I am very excited! I found this article and I just have to share it.
Schools for deaf, blind, taken off state board's list of recommended cuts
SALT LAKE CITY — The State Board of Education finalized a list of recommended programs that could be cut should state budgets be tightened this year, and the Schools for the Deaf and the Blind was not on it.
At a meeting last week, the board drafted a list of possible cuts that included $20 million in funding for USDB. The board decided at its Legislative meeting Thursday that if cuts are necessary, they should be made to a variety of other programs, totaling more than $50 million.
Chairwoman Debra Roberts said that while the board is no longer recommending closing the schools, it will form an ad hoc committee consisting of educators and legislators who will examine the functions and finances of USDB and look at how children are being served.
"This seems like the right timing to open that up," she said. "I think that's a very healthy process."
The committee will make recommendations based on their findings by June 1, so the board can discuss continued funding for the schools with the Legislature. Roberts said it's possible they'll find everything operating as it should be.
"I think it's absolutely the smart thing to do," said Steve Noyce, superintendent of USDB. "I think it gives the Board of Education an opportunity to re-look at the school."
Noyce testified at a Public Education Appropriations Subcommittee earlier this week about the early intervention work the school does for children. He said that should the schools be eliminated, districts would have to provide the services it does, and there's no way they'd be able to provide them as efficiently or thoroughly as USDB.
Noyce said that with the turnover in state board members from election to election, he's always glad to inform them of the services the school provides. What's more, studies of USDB have always been useful.
"Every time we've had a study, we've benefited from the insight we've gained," he said. "I think they'll find out that we provide critical services to children. ... I'm thrilled."

Now you are all as updated as I am. :) This doesn't mean we are going to stop fighting to keep it going and open. These kids need these programs so we are going to do our best.
Stress it's a killer
I have been under a great deal of stress lately and I am grateful to say that some of those stresses are a lot lower then they were a little while ago.
With all the kids in school I had hit a new low. Wondering where I belonged.
It was really hard on me and my family until I found a new place and someone that really needed my help and I felt that I had value helping.
I am very grateful to be helping someone that really needs it.
It was very stressing to find out that Dylan's school might close and at least this year I hope that the school stays open. I had emails several different people in the government to let them know how important the school is to my family and that we really need it to stay open. I did have some of them send me email me back informing me that they are going to work very hard to make sure that the school stays open. I am glad that there are some people out there that understand and are willing to do what it takes to make sure that those that are receiving special services to help improve their lives (especially children) will be able to keep those services.
It was great to get some of that weight off my shoulders. Being able to get it out what is going on here in Utah so it doesn't happen anywhere else is great for me because it makes me feel like I am helping a whole bunch of people be more aware and to fight for the rights that children have to learn.
Rhett has been enjoying being at the top of the school even though since he was in I want to say 3rd grade everyone in the school knows him or of him. LOL!!! He is doing very well in his studies and enjoying his class and friends. I know he will miss them next year but he will be where he needs to be. At least he and Dylan will be together in the same school. This way he will get his signing since his oxygen needs have not decreased and his breathing is labored. This way he will not need to waste his breath talking to get what he needs across. He is so smart and sometimes he thinks that just because he is smart he can do what he wants. I think that might be part of being 11 years old.
Nikole has been improving so much in school. I mean huge improvements! I am so proud of her for striving for better since I know that she is really very smart. She loves going to church and was so happy to have the primary sing Happy Birthday to her. LOL!! She was almost too late to be sang too since she was doing something and came late. But she was lucky I was there and had them wait for her. :) She has been to some activity days but we have been forgetting, and we are going to remember from now on. I am planning on her making it to all of them that are coming up. LOL!!! She has been so strong and caring, but she does have her issues sometimes. Man she really needs to have less issues, well at least less often. When it does happen it really isn't pretty. She is an amazing helper for Rhett when they go to school. She almost always takes his backpack and helps him into the school and than again even after school she helps with the oxygen. She is such an amazing sister to her brothers even though she can sometimes be mean to them but I guess that is always what siblings are for, right? :)
Gavin is doing GREAT!!! He got all 8 hearts before anyone else in his class. Which means he knows all the shapes, numbers (meaning count by 10 to 100), letters (meaning the name of all the letters and the sounds of all the letters), his address, his phone number, how to write his name correctly, how to write 1-20 correctly, and writing all the letters correctly. I have seen him reading before all by himself before I read to him. LOL!! He is doing so good. His mind is just absorbing so much. He has a hard time being home with no one else but me so I am hoping I can change that and have him stay with someone else that has kids so that he has someone to play with before and after school, since Dylan is at school from before 8 am until 4:30pm 4 days a week. He likes playing video games all the time but with no one to play with it is really hard on him when I tell him no. LOL!
Dylan is starting to really enjoy school. He did have a very rough time going back after missing a whole week but by the end of the week he was really enjoying it. He looks so small going to school. Very cute with his backpack all ready and walking down the steps to the van/bus all by himself. He does need a car seat and so he is strapped in and waving good bye. Than I don't see him until later that day. :( Oh well he is signing so much more. Which is great since now he is starting to communicate better with us. I wonder what they do at the school but I am scared to visit because...... I really don't want to see my baby grow up. It is great I don't need to wake him up in the morning since he is only of the only early risers that live in this house. LOL!!! He is up and can be ready before everyone else. So far he isn't on oxygen and he is doing good. Well we will have to wait and see if there are any changes and if there are I will let everyone know.
Let's pray that life settles down a little and that we get some answers soon about what has been going on with Rhett. Besides not sleeping, breathing hard, and only eating sometimes I get really worried. I just have to remember that it is all in the Lords hands and he will make sure everything is take care of. It is a good thing that I have the Lord or I am not sure I would be able to handle everything.

What the HECK!!!
Oh boy I am so mad it isn't even funny. I just found out this most awful news. That the school that Dylan attends JMS(Jean Massieu School) and USDB(Utah School for the Deaf and Blind) might be closed and that is all because of the budget! They can't think of anything else to do away with they have to go after education. What the CRAP ARE THEY THINKING!!!!!

I just want to scream I am so mad. Dylan just started this last month. But I have been fighting the state and the district for education for Rhett since 1st grade and nothing, I can't get any help from them. Holy cow! I thought that all children are given equal opportunity to have a education. With what they are trying to pull it is going to do so much damage!
Since kids are the future they should all be getting a education so they can be able to move this country forward in a good direction. If we don't give them the education they deserve then what is going to happen to them down the road?
I could really use some great ideas. Please send this to everyone you know people have a right to know what is going on here. Please keep us in your prayers that we will over come this stupidity and help our children not hurt them.

SALT LAKE CITY -- A legislative appropriations committee on Tuesday will talk about closing the Utah Schools for the Deaf and Blind, as well as several other options as they look for ways to further trim the budget.
The proposal doesn't sit well with parents whose children attend these specialized schools.
The idea would be to shift the services currently being provided by the schools to individual districts. It's one of the items being floated by the Utah School Board as it tries to find a way to cut $20 million from its budget.
"We made many recommendations before this one was made," said School Board Chairwoman Deborah Roberts, "but we still have a lot of session left."
"Some very good, very important things may be left by the wayside. That is the reality of not having the funding to do the things you need to do." -School Board Chairwoman Deborah Roberts
Roberts said a great deal of study would have to be put into the idea before any real action was taken.
But Roberts also said they have to look at all options, as they've been tasked with ways to further cut their budget. "None of these cuts are good," Roberts said. "None are wise. "
Many parents of students attending these schools are concerned about the future of their children's education.
"This is my kid and this is my child's education that potentially they're going to flush down the toilet," said Heather Frost, whose son attends one of the schools.
Frost believes it simply would not be cost effective for the district to pick up the services the state school currently provides. "How are they going to provide orientation and mobility, audiology instruction, ASL (American Sign Language) instruction, expanded core curriculum, interpreters or brail?"
The program has been dealing with some in-fighting over how hearing-impaired students are taught. Some of that battle has risen to the level of the School Board.
Roberts said that has weighed on some board members' decisions to take a second look at the program -- but she said if the Board has to make further cuts, they simply have to return to the core of what they do. She said that means providing the state curriculum for all K-12 children.

Gosh Dang!!!
Well Nikole has gotten a cold and has been coughing a little, has a yucky nose and still hasn't been eating right. She is still very pale but acts fine and wants to go to school. So because she has had these symptoms for a week, I have been in contact with the doctor since she and Dylan Shares a room. Since she has been coughing at night I was wondering if I needed to take him out of the bedroom....
Well as it turns out Dylan is now sick. :( Has a nasty cough, runny nose, and a squeaky voice that is very not good. So now I have 2 semi sick kids. They are both on Amoxicillin and recovering. Then we found out that their cousin has Strep. Oh fun! Oh well that is the way that cookie crumbles right? I am praying that they don't have RSV. When I took Dylan to the doctor I was informed that what he has isn't in his lungs which is GREAT!!! His Sats are great so I am going to pray that it doesn't good into his lungs and that he can recover.
I guess this is what happens when kids get share rooms, go to school, not was hands often, and don't cover their mouths. They really like sharing don't they? LOL! Wait! Not they don't!!! They like sharing when they don't like what they have. When it is toys and food they don't like to share at all.
Now on top of all of that drama Rhett is telling me that the muscles in his eye brow are hurting. WHAT! Your Eye Brow??? Yep you heard me right he said the eye brow. Oh great! He has been moaning about it all day and not want to do anything.
This was a conversation that we had Saturday.
"Do you want me to take you to the hospital."
"No."
"Well then why do you keep telling me and complaining about it?"
"It hurts."
"Do you want some medicine?"
"No."
"Than what do you want me to do???"
"I don't know."
"Ok."
What a great talk we had. LOL!! So daddy was like do we have any Tylenol or Motrin that we can give him? Then daddy asks if he wants some and he says yes. WHAT! I just asked you that. Sometimes I wonder if he even listens to me. I ma wondering if his age has anything to do with it.
Grateful that Gavin is having any problems. That is so nice to have at least one that is doing great. Praying that he stays healthy.

day 18- Plans/dreams/goals you have
Wow this one.
I have a whole list. It is almost like a bucket list.

So I guess I will list only some of them for now and when I do a bucket list I will put them all. LOL!
Plans: To help more people, make sure the kids are getting what they need, Be a better advocate for my children, To be a better mom, To be a better wife, To get this great opportunity to help my family more.
Dreams: To be able to take more trips with the family, To make sure my kids are always healthy (LOL!!!).
Goals: To have a better car, To finish my basement, To get an iphone :) and use it (LOL!!), To make sure there is no more debt for our family.
Ok so it isn't a lot but heck it is something right? :)

day 17- Someone you would want to switch lives with for one day and why
Heck all I have to say about this post is HA HA HA HA HA!!!!
I am totally ROTFL!!
Who would I want to trade places with? Ummmm....
No one comes to mind.
Seriously who would want to take a walk in my shoes?
I wouldn't trust anyone else with my job of taking care of my family like me.
I can just see missed appointments.
It would be great to trade places with someone even for a day,
but I am not sure who that would be.
Maybe I would want to be a famous actress for a day, or maybe someone that is really rich?
But that isn't helpful. I would want to be someone helpful.
I love helping people and if I could be someone different for a day I would want to make some big impact on many different people and their lives.
To be able to help lots of different people would be great!
A doctor, a teacher, or a nurse they would all be good ones. There are so many to choose from.
Or I could be someone from the past? NO!
There is no way they could survive with all the stresses that we have now.
I know there are many different people who think I have got a pretty easy job. It would be great to change places with them just to teach them a lesson. I am sure that the trials that they face are hard for them and they think that others have it easier then they do.
I know the trials I face are for me alone to face. They are hard but I know that I can face them head on with the Lords help. Someone else trails might look easy for me and that is great but they are not meant for me. Maybe my trails would be easy for someone else. I guess the Lord know what we all need to grow stronger.
So I think that I would like to trade places with...
