31 in 31 day 18

Well I was thinking on what I would have a picture on day 18. I decided to take this picture since it was the thing that came to my mind. This is a item that daddy brought back from RI for 3 of the kids. the other child got something totally different. I will have to post that on another one of my 31 days. :) What a great idea!!!

I have always wondered how they get those little boats in those bottles.

Broken

I just want to cry. The cord to upload my pictures is not working right I have been trying to post all day and NOTHING! I am so sad! :( I really need to post my 31 in 31 at least 4 different days but I can't get the pictures out of the camera. This is really stinking big time!

Rhett had his CT scan Tuesday morning and we have to wait a week to get the results which is a huge bummer.

School starts TODAY!!! So excited!! I need some space. LOL!! I think all parents feel that way. There are just things that I can do easier when the kids are in school. Gavin is going to be tested to see what class he will be placed in. that is going to be in 6 hours.

Holy crap what am I doing up?!?!?!

Oh that is right this is the only time that I have to be able to get all my feeling out there and needing to get things said and done.

Well my dishes are done that is a good thing.

Rhett and Nikole both get to be taken out of school early tomorrow since there is a doctors appointment and that really bugs me. I am not sure why it does but it does.

We normally walk to school on the first day of school. I am planning on keeping that tradition. The kids are very excited. I guess that they are ready to go back to school too. :)

I guess I better hit the hay since i have to wake up in 3 hours. Pray for me to get enough rest to get up and get going on time. lol

31 in 31 day 17

I got my pictures off my phone! I am so excited!!! :) Finally! I really need to get my camera working again.

I had just put drops in his eye since he needs them 3 times a day. I was hoping that if I had the camera in front of him he would be happy but that didn't work. LOL!

Oh well he is still cute even with a grumpy face.

He he he!! I did it! I remembered before 2 am! This is my picture for today! Ok really it is 2 pictures but they go together so I had to do them both in one day. :)

This is Nikole's before picture. LOL She really doesn't like having her hair done.

Dylan's surgery

So Dylan had surgery on Thursday and thankfully it was just an out patient one. Meaning that we were not there over night. YEA!

The crazy waiting room wall. I know most of you have probably have never seen this and I would have been happy if they had left it just blank. It is just weird!~

I was able to get some before pictures and after pictures. He had eye muscle surgery on his right eye, so as you see the pictures it is on the left looking at him. :) Took me a while to figure that one out.

Happy Boy waiting. Doesn't even care where he is since there is a whole lot of toys here!

Being such a good boy for the nurse! Not scared of anything!

He is holding his plane between his fingers since his hands were busy but his 2 fingers were not. :) Thought of it all by himself. What a smart boy I have!

Right before surgery in the waiting area. This was taken right before the doctors came and talked to us. He is too funny not wanting to put his feet down. :)

The night we came home. He was not very happy, but he loves looking at himself in the camera.

Taken today. Looking better but not much.

He is showing his drink of water off. :) He got it all by himself! So proud of himself. LOL!!

He likes getting up close and personal. He would take the camera if I let him. :)

We have to put drops in his eye 3 times a day for 7 days. Poor kid really doesn't enjoy this. I don't blame him I wouldn't enjoy it either. Oh wait I still have to put drops in my eyes too dang at least he doesn't cry too much if I show him that mommy need to have it done too. at least we are in this together.

Not again! I thought I was getting on top of it then I miss placed my phone and then I found it! Yea so here we go...



How is it that Dylan is the one in the house that like doing crazy things and being happy at the same time? What a cutie!

Wow so much and so little

Wow trying to catch up before school starts on all the stuff that has been going on is going to be tricky. We have be a busy group.

The kids have been getting excited for school to start. I think that they have no idea how excited that I am! :) Wah ha ha ha ha!!! I can't wait! There is so much that I am not able to do until they go back that I need to do.

Rhett and Dylan are have all sort of appointments getting ready for the school year and for other things. We just saw the Cardiologist and he said that Rhett's heart is looking ok by ECHO, but they are not 100% sure how it is really doing. Between him and the Pulmonologist they would like to get a cath done on Rhett just to make sure since his heart is still ok since it is elevated but not really really bad yet. The Cardiologist said to me that normal is 25 and really really bad is 40. According to the ECHO he is at 30. He said that they can see if some medication would be able to help his heart if the oxygen isn't doing enough, but then they can also see if everything that can be done is already done. It would be another OR visit to put a little camera in either his neck or his leg and have the camera go to his heart and lungs. Then they can get a very good look at those organs. They are suppose to call me before the end of the month to get that set up soon.

Nikole is just having fun being responsible for herself and sometimes gets carried away and than gets into trouble for trying to be responsible for the boys that she doesn't need to do that for. That is a girl for you huh? :) LOL! She loves playing outside in the water and has been getting a kick out of that this summer. She is excited to start school and be in 3rd grade! She is going to have such a great time! She has got an amazing teacher!

Gavin is excited to start kindergarten! So happy that he is bouncing off the walls. :) He has been getting along better with Rhett. I know SURPRISE! LOL... They have been working hard at making it possible for them to play video games with each other. :) They are learning to be happy with each other and get along to get things done. SO HAPPY!! :) I can't believe that Gavin is getting so big. He still has some anger issues that he has to work out. He gets really really mad and then he just needs to talk and cuddle with mommy to work it all out. But after 5-10 minutes he is fine and ready to play and have a great time until he needs more mommy time. I just figured this out not even 5 days ago. I know HOW DENSE! Oh well not like I have a lot on my mind.

Dylan is just kicking it with mommy at home for now. Keep praying that we will do what we need to do before he turns 3. After 3 he is suppose to go to preschool and not get therapy at home anymore. I can't believe that is in less than 6 months. He is growing too fast for me. :'( It makes me cry. Oh well that just means that I have to help him even more so that he know more things. Right now he is recovering from eye surgery next week if I remember right another doctor's appointment. I will have to keep you posted on everything.

Playing catch up is killing me! LOL! At least I can do the 2 posts that I need to do to finally catch up right now... So proud!

Wow ok since it has been a while I feel like I really need to post some videos that I have. they are not long only 20 seconds each since my camera is dead! :'( Ok past that sad moment. I hope that you are able to get a smile from this as I was able to smile taking them.

Daddy was nice enough to draw smiley faces on Dylan's hands and play with him. It was cute to see him try to get his smiley face to eat pizza. Cracked him up!
