day 11- Another picture of you and your friends

Well since my other computer was stolen I have very few photos of my and my friends that I have access to. I will have to scour my house looking for more photos but for now this is as good as your going to get. LOL!

Yes I realize that it is my family but my family are also my friends.

Can you believe it! Dylan is 3!!!! I know oh my gosh!!! I am going to take a lot of pictures and I can post them later tonight.

day 10- Songs you listen to when you are happy, sad, bored, hyped, mad

If you have visited my blog you hear the music that I like to listen to. LOL! I know most of it is Disney but there are plenty that really enjoy listening to that are not Disney.

day 9- Something you're proud of in the past few days

I will have to think about this and post it a little later. :)

Well I guess the thing that I am most proud of is getting ready for my son's 3rd birthday.

Ok I am also proud of a wonderful family and being able to spend some time with them 2 times with in a week. One time for Grandma's birthday party and for Katie's funeral.

I am proud of my kids and the joy they bring into my life.

I have made some huge decisions these past few days and am looking forward to a great year!

I am proud of the personal progress that I have made in my life and my thinking and my look out on life to have such a great time.

day 8- Short term goals for this month and why

Wow this is another hard one. Why can't they have easy ones like what is you favorite number? :) Or if you could be an animal what would you be and why? Those are easy.

Short term goals??? Humm...

Not have a panic attack this month.

Survive. Let us see if I can do that.
Less stress. ROTFL!! Yeah right!!!

Why???

No kids.

Gosh!

So I took Dylan to the doctor since I needed to make sure his ears were not infected again. Gratefully they were not infected. YEA!!! He is going to be starting preschool this next week. I was hoping that he would have started this week but this being a short week he didn't make it. Then I find out that the transportation person was not informed of Dylan going to the school. Gosh dang!!!!! So his first day of school will be on his 3rd birthday. I was hoping that I would have started him before so I would be ready to see him grow up and be a school aged child. I am not sure if I am ready, but ready or not his birthday is going to be next week.

While we were there he had a look at Rhett's back and of course the "bruise" was a yellow color almost completely gone. Oh, well the doctor did say that he thinks it is a skin problem and that we should see a dermatologist. Oh that is just lovely. :( I guess I should take him in some time before April. I think that it is from the surgeries but I have no way of proving it. But less than 3 hours after seeing the doctors he was complaining of pain in his left shoulder and as soon as we got home he had this huge "bruise" on his back where it has been since November off and on. Oh joy! So now I am putting some medicine on his back everyday to see if it helps. The doctor wants to give it a week to see if it helps. We shall see.

It is good that Nikole and Gavin are doing so well. At least when they are not fighting with each other. LOL!!! What good siblings. Nikole loves playing in her room with her toys. Gavin loves playing video games. But heck it is at least playing and not just being bored and doing nothing. Now if I can just get them to play together that would be amazing! At least they are getting their homework is getting done. Next year Gavin will be in the after school program with her. It will be good. :) Only a few more months until school is out and than I hope they fight less.

One of my Aunts died this past week and her funeral is Saturday. We will miss her dearly but at least she isn't suffering anymore. It is always harder to see the ones you love suffer. There have been many people that I know of that have died from cancer and it really hard on the whole family.

day 7- A picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you

Ok so the first person that has had a huge impact on me is the Lord. He has helped me in more ways than I can count. I am grateful for all the blessings that the Lord has given me.

He has blessed me so much! Thank you.

The next one that has had a great impact on my life is my family. I have learned so very much from them and I am grateful for them and all the things that they have blessed me with.

I am blessed so very much. I want to be able to bless all the lives that I come in contact with in some small way. That way I am helping out all those in need of blessings.

day 6- Your favorite super hero and why

Wow this is hard.

I guess it will be....

I choose the whole family. There is strength, the ability to stretch, to be able to be invisible, The speed, and a combination of several different powers.

It would be fun to be able to have all of these powers, and if you couldn't have it in one person then a family is the next best thing.

day 5- A picture of somewhere you've been to

When we went on a family vacation I really wanted to go to this since I had heard about it and thought it sounded fun. It was so much fun!!! We had a blast!!!

We even had our picture taken with the King that day. Gavin was no so sure about it but he loved it as much as everyone else. :)

We will for do it again. I am not sure when that will be but I have something to look forward to.

day 4 - A habit that you wish you didn't have

Wow a habit that I wish I didn't have? That is a hard one, since there are so many... I think.

I would have to say the habit that i wish I didn't have would be staying up so late and running off of very little sleep. LOL As I am doing this day(meaning day 4) in the middle of the night.

I think it would be nice to be like a normal person and have a decent night sleep every night and still be able to get everything done that needs to be done. I guess it is one of those things that I just can't help.

I am sure there are others that I would like to not have but I cannot think of them right now. LOL!

All the stuff

Well here is the latest that has been going around.

Rhett CT scan looks fine. There is nothing wrong. THAN WHY THE HECK IS HE BRUISING OVER AND OVER AGAIN??????? Seriously I just saw another bruise in the same spot and it has gotten bigger. No he hasn't been pushed, hit, or hurt in any other way. I mean crikey his bruise is on his back right over the incisions and it happens over and over again. My big problem is that fact that it is getting bigger and bigger and it starts to heal and go away just to re-bruise over and over again. Has has had this going on since November. Guess what?!?!? The doctors are stumped they have no idea what is causing the bruise. I will have to see if I can find a way to put the pictures that I took of it on Jan. 4th at night right before bed up here so maybe you all might be able to help me figure out what the doctors don't know. (Then you all like me can have a P behind your name too. :) That is what someone said I needed to have and I totally agree. Look at all the schooling that I have behind me and so much more to go through. LOL!) Rhett also has some more bumps in his mouth and the doctor said that if they started to get in the way or bothering him then they would take them out. I am not sure how much they bother him but if it were me I would be so bothered. The doctor thinks they are the same bumps that were taken off his tongue when he was 4 months old so not to worry too much. But he is going to have to go in an d have tubes placed in his ears since he is having ear problems. :( Oh well kind of expecting that since he has been turning up his hearing aids all the way no matter what. I guess he really is deaf or really wants to be deaf since never turns them down. The doctors at Shriner's said that if Rhett was to go under meaning be in surgery it might be a good idea to put something like a screw in his ankle to help him even them out since he walks in the inside of his foot and for the life of me there is nothing that I can do to help him walk upright. He also has a gate more so in his right leg than on his left but still it is hard for him to walk and he is telling me almost daily that his feet and legs hurt.

We were contacted by NIH (National Institute of Health) and I gave them the low down on what is going on with Rhett and Dylan since that is where we went when Rhett was 2 to be in a genetics study. I told them what was going on since there have been many changes since we were last there. I mean come on we were there last when Rhett was 2! Do you expect things to stay the same? ROTFL!! Yeah right not in this lifetime. They are going to discuss all the things that have been going on and then get back to me sometime before the end of the year. :) I know they can see this and I am just not planning on a call tomorrow since they are super busy and I know that.

Nikole and Gavin are doing great! Both teachers are impressed that they are doing so well and at all the effort they are putting into their school work and homework. They have improved since last year by a LOT! I am surprised since they still act the same at home. Meaning they usually don't like helping around the house and are very good at ignoring mommy, not cleaning their rooms, and so much more. It is just like normal around here, so why are they so good at school? Maybe the teachers should come over and help me. :) I think that is a great idea since they listen so well to them in school. He he he and the plotting begins.

Dylan is doing better now that he had medicine and the crappy stuff is gone. But he is still going to need tubes in his ears also since he had knocked that one out in October. He is also turning 3 this month and going to be starting preschool. Oh my goodness!!! What am I going to do with myself???? I will figure something out. He has already had his IEP and turned in the papers to start school the only thing that they need is his birth cert and his immunization record to make sure he is safe to go be around sick kids. LOL! Ok so hopefully the parents of kids at the school are smart enough to keep their kids home if they are sick but it still makes me worried since the insurance said that Dylan doesn't qualify for Synagis. WHAT!! I was so mad when they sent me a cute little letter and told me that. If he gets RSV so help me I will be kicking down the insurance company's door to give them a piece of my mind and make them pay for all damages. Since I know that if he does get it he will end up right where I don't want him to... that is right the hospital. Grrrrr...... Makes me so mad! I think they should have a kids like mine and then deny their own kids the things that they need. :) That would bring a smile to my face than they would understand how I feel.
