Counting the days

Well tis the season that the kids are now counting the days until they are allowed to open presents. I am sure all kids count the days until Christmas. Especially since school is out. But now the fighting and the whining and the arguing are out of control. Why 2 whole week with out school? I sure know that the kids are happy about it but yet they sure don't show it. Go figure! If they got along when they are with each other rather than fighting then it would be no worries but no they have to fight I am not sure why but I guess it is in their blood to fight with each other. Well I better run since there are a million and a half things that need to be done before Christmas sleep being one of them.

Doctor Visit

Well today Dylan had a doctors appointment and that was for a FESS with speech. Basically a swallow study to see how he is handling solids and liquids. But in order to do this they have to stick a camera down his nose and to his trachea. That way they can see if there is food entering the airway or not. Well it is determined that he cannot handle liquids since he refused to drink anything from a bottle, cup, spoon, etc. They placed liquid in his mouth but it took quite a bit for him to even attempt to swallow and when he did it just pooled up and was just splattered all over his airway. So they determined that liquids are too dangerous for his lungs. But the great news is that he can have stage 2 foods since the stage 1 bananas went so well. He is making progress at lest with his food not quite with drink but with food. We will reevaluate in April to see if he is to continue tube feeds for his formula or if he can drink. Let us just pray that he will be drinking by then.

Winter time is here

Well it is Christmas once again and things are a crazy around here as normal. Dylan had his shot for RSV and now we are as ready for the winter as we ever will be I guess. Shopping is mostly finished thankfully. I really should send something to my sisters and brother but right now I need to find a good roofing company to fix the roof at our duplex. Not the funnest of things to be doing right now. It has been snow recently and the kids are just dying to go roll in the snow. I think that they are crazy. I really need to get my own computer so that way I am not up in the middle of the night typing my blog. LOL!! Oh well that is the life I have now but that is going to change.
I gave my mom some awesome vitamins that are going to change her life. Because they are going to make her feel great!! I know since they came from my business. She was sure surprised when I gave them to her today. I hope that we all stay healthy this winter time. I can hardly wait until spring. WOW how I wish time would fly. Well better run since it is very very late or really really early depending on how you look at it.
